Calendar Invite Keeps Sending
The outlook calendar comes with an excellent feature called scheduling assistant also known as free busy.
Calendar invite keeps sending. Your response to the invitation cannot be sent issue. I ve tired to delete the recurring meeting and create new recurring meetings. I tried turning the calendar off on via the iphone and that briefly worked but 2 days later the issue returned.
It basically lets you know if the person you d like to send an invitation to is already busy or unavailable for your selected date time range. It appears that if a meeting invite has been accepted via the iphone there is a continual loop of acceptance emails being sent to the originator delegate of the calendar. They are resent to all participant on the invite.
This only appears to be affecting one user but this user sends a calendar invite then starts sending multiple invites there after. The same thing keeps. We are using exchange sbs with the user using outlook 2007 also the user has an iphone which he has yet to confirm if he used the device to send the invite.
Everyone accepts the meeting. User a with outlook 2010 sends a recurring meeting to a distribution group. The recipient would report receiving the invite many times 10 in many cases but the invite email only shows up once in the meeti.
However when i did i didn t see any of my calendar appointments as i. But if your calendar appointments are saved somewhere else for me they are synced with the calendar on my computer you will be able to refresh them and have them reappear on your phone. Force close all applications and re open calendar app.
Randomly users within the distribution group receive the meeting invite again again and again for the same recurring meeting. The good news for google calendar users is that a simple option can help stop the spam but still keep most of the functionality. To open this feature simply navigate to the meeting tab and click on scheduling assistant.
