Custom Outlook Calendar Reminder
Click the file options.
Custom outlook calendar reminder. You can enter a custom time. Select the calendar event you want to add an email reminder to and press edit. In the calendar section select a new time from the default reminder drop down list.
If you want to make sure that every new item has a specific reminder time that isn t in the list you can open up the outlook options through the outlook button in the left hand corner and then go to calendar and highlight the text in the default reminders drop down box. Type in anything you want and close out of the options. If you select the check box enter the date and time when you want the reminder to appear.
This section will guide you to change the reminder sound in the options dialog box of microsoft outlook 2010 and 2013. In the custom dialog box select or clear the reminder check box. Daily weekly monthly and yearly.
In the email reminder window choose add email reminder. Box and set the alert period in the duration. It supports four styles of recurrence.
Even when you change the default reminder time you still have the choice to specify a custom reminder time for each calendar item that you create. Go to the reminders section and click the browse button. You can t use shortcuts 2d 2w etc like you can in other time fields.
Under calendar options next to default reminders click a new time. The reminder needs to be entered with the time period minutes hours days spelled out. In the appointment time section select the alert time in the start.
