Drag and drop the item you want to move from one calendar to the other. Click the file tab and choose options. Even if i set the default behaviour in file options calendar calendar options default reminder time any new calendar entries still defaults to none.
In 2013 the default reminder time was always set to a certain time but in outlook 2016 it seems to always be set to none. I skipped over version 2013 so i can t say for certain but it seems strange that ms would change it to 0 5 days 12 hours in 2013 and then change back to 18 hours in 2016. Under calendar options select or clear default reminders.
The calendars appear in the reading pane side by side. This is my local calendar not a shared calendar. In the folder pane on the left side of the screen select the check boxes next to the calendar names.
In outlook 2016 the default reminder time for all day events is still 18 hours at least in my setup with a fresh install of 2016 on a clean system. You can change the reminder time when you create the appointment or you can change the default setting as follows. For existing appointments or meetings.
