Generate Outlook Calendar Reminder
If you want to create outlook reminders from excel please do as follows.

If it s a new appointment add a subject location and brief description. In outlook 2007 create a new appointment by clicking the file new appointment. Open the remind me dropdown and select add email reminder.
Pick recurrence from the task tab. For the busy status column number 2 means that the reminder will be shown as busy in your outlook calendar. Set the default amount of time at which you want to receive reminders before new calendar items for example 15 minutes 30 minutes etc.
Duplicate reminders only occur for events in the users personal calendar either ones they have created themselves or meetings they have been invited to. Choose the reminder drop down menu and choose how long before the appointment you want to be reminded. To create your first event click the time and date button on the taskbar and select the date for the event.
Or choose none if you don t want a reminder. In outlook 2010 2013 create a new appointment by clicking the new items appointment in the new group on the home tab. In the email reminder window choose add email reminder.
Select the calendar event you want to add an email reminder to and press edit. Create or open an appointment with one of following methods. Select more options in the calendar event edit window.
