Outlook Calendar Reminder Defaults To 18 Hours
Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have two defaults for reminders on meeting requests one is for appointments and one for all day events.

Confirmed that if i look at those on my calendar in outlook they show 18 hours as well. And as soon as you uncheck all day meeting the reminder should change from 18 hours to 15 minutes.

Normally the default reminder time of all day event is 18 hours in outlook 2007 2010 and 0 5 day in outlook 2013. In outlook 2003 sp3 in calendar an appointment defaults to 18 hours when you double click on a date to set a new appointment. However when you right click and choose new appointment it defaults to 15min.
