Outlook Group Calendar Reminder
When you create the appointment on the shared calendar save the appointment using the save icon or ctrl s then click.

If you select the check box enter the amount of time before the appointment or meeting when you want the reminder to appear. The reminder doesn t work for shared calendar though the user has owner permission of this calendar folder. Go to your personal calendar in outlook right click the events you don t want to see click delete series follow the instructions and complete.
They can either open the appointment and click the copy to my calendar button or drag and drop a copy to their calendar. In the advanced options dialog box select reminder options. In the reminder options dialog box select display the reminder.
Users copy the appointments that they want reminders for to their own calendar. Because outlook only supports firing reminders in your own mailbox or default pst file. And in this condition people need to delete the group events in their own calendar manually and the process is pretty easy.
