Outlook Calendar Reminder Duplicates

Open outlook and select the calendar tab on the bottom left.

Everyone else in the organisation has reviewer rights to the users calendar but no one else has rights to create or modify events in the users calendar. To prevent duplicate calendar items when you import calendar items into outlook select the do not import duplicates or replace duplicates with items imported option in the import and export wizard. I tried both and the second one worked for me. Other synches that could be problematic would be with orgs like linkin. Duplicate reminders only occur for events in the users personal calendar either ones they have created themselves or meetings they have been invited to.
